This is the wrong fix but I'll leave this PR open as a draft and return to it later.

The issue is the viz for the snap grid is perfect with a new sketch but if you transform the world at all then it starts jumping at the wrong time.

It should stay put while your pointer is +/- 0.5 of the grid size

When it breaks it starts jumping at +anything in one direction but requires your pointer to move nearly -1 in the other direction.

It's mostly a cosmetic problem but it's annoying once you notice it.
